According to reports, Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland are among the heavyweight targets of Manchester United as they try to sign a big signing next summer.
Real Madrid is believed to have Mbappe as their number one priority, although a deal could be done before September 1st. However, United are keeping an eye on Mbappe’s situation, ESPN reports.
United are aware of Madrid’s ongoing interest in Mbappe’s, according to the report. Bosses said to be prepared to pay the 22-year old’s high wage expectations in the event he becomes available in 2022 without paying a transfer fee.
Mbappe is expected to make a decision to play for Spain and switch to LaLiga by next season.

United could capitalize on their arch-rivals’ failure to capture the 28 year-old this season. They view him as an upgrade on Edinson, Cavani ahead the Uruguay forward’s expected departure at the campaign’s end.
Despite Mino Raiola’s April talks with Real Madrid and Barcelona, Haaland appears set to remain at Dortmund this season.
Chelsea has also expressed interest in the PS150 million price tag to the Norway and Bundesliga phenomena.
