In a 3PM clash, the Citizens will take on Leicester City. This should be a tough test for Pep Guardiola’s team.

Man City enters the game after two 5-0 defeats at Arsenal and Norwich. They did however lose their first bout of the season, 1-0 to Tottenham.

Leicester have also lost one league match and won two this term. A 4-1 defeat at West Ham was sandwiched between victories over Wolves, Norwich and Wolves.

However, the Foxes have a good record against Pep Guardiola’s Man City.

They defeated the Sky Blues by 5-2 in the first season of last year, while also securing a 1-0 win August to secure the Community Shield.

De Bruyne trains before Leicester

Guardiola knows he has a difficult fixture ahead of him so he is eager to have the best team possible this weekend.

The Spaniard appears to have received a boost in personnel this week.

Kevin De Bruyne will miss Man City’s victories over Norwich and Arsenal. Fitness reasons were cited as the reason that the midfielder was absent vs Norwich.

KDB’s absence from City’s two previous games has been a source of controversy. He then didn’t travel with Belgium to the international break. Transfermarket claimed that KDB had an ankle injury and not fitness as the reason for his exclusion for Man City.

However, the midfielder appears to have made a full recovery from whatever problem he had. He was seen in training for Man City Tuesday.
